Is your honey 100% pure Australian?
Yes. Every jar is 100% pure honey with no added sugar, corn syrup, or artificial flavorings, sourced directly from reputable apiaries in Australia. What is the difference between “Raw” and “Commercial” honey?
Our Raw Honey is cold-extracted, meaning it hasn’t been heat-treated or ultra-filtered. This preserves the natural enzymes, antioxidants, and pollen that give honey its health benefits. Commercial honey is often pasteurized (heated), which makes it look clearer but removes much of its nutritional value.
Why does my honey look “cloudy” or “hard”?
This is called crystallization, and it is a natural sign of 100% pure, raw honey! It happens when the natural sugars (glucose) separate from the water.
Is it spoiled? No, it’s perfectly safe to eat.
How to fix it: Place the jar in a bowl of warm water (not boiling) for a few minutes, and it will return to a liquid state.
Does honey expire?
The short answer is no. Pure honey is one of the only foods in the world that naturally never expires! In fact, archaeologists have discovered pots of honey in ancient Egyptian tombs that are over 3,000 years old and still perfectly edible.
Why doesn’t it spoil? Honey is naturally low in moisture and highly acidic, making it an impossible environment for bacteria or mold to grow.
The “Best Before” Date: Primarily a guide for “peak quality.” After this date, the honey is still safe to eat, though it may naturally darken or change in texture.
When should I actually throw it away?
While honey doesn’t expire on its own, it can be compromised by external moisture. Because Malaysia is very humid, if you leave the lid open or use a wet spoon, the honey can absorb water from the air.
Signs of spoilage: If you see visible mold, a layer of foam on top, or a sharp, sour/vinegar-like smell (fermentation), it is time to discard the jar.

Can I give this honey to my baby?
No. Honey should not be given to infants under 12 months old. This is due to the risk of infant botulism, a rare but serious illness. Honey is perfectly safe for children older than one year and adults.
